This
project consists of five acres of site development and
construction of a 15,000 square foot building with administrative,
classroom and worship areas. Unity of Fairfax Church maintained
their existing facilities while this phase was completed
in anticipation of the future sanctuary addition. The
common area is currently being used for worship pending
the next construction phase. The centerpiece of the project
is a concrete and steel cantilevered entrance canopy that
radiates around a magnificent old oak tree. Extreme care
was taken to construct the building and entrance canopy
without disturbing the historic tree. This project was
first awarded to Jack Bays, Inc. on the basis of interviews
and ultimately confirmed by a select list, competitive
bid round of pricing. |
