In early 2006 Jack Bays, Inc. was selected as the negotiated General Contractor to provide both preconstruction and construction services for Trinity United Methodist Church's expansion program.
As the preconstruction phase developed and we provided cost estimates, schedules and constructability reviews for the building committee, budget constraints required that the expansion be constructed in phases. We worked with the project team on a redesign that ultimately met their program services at a greatly reduced SF area.
This 13,340 SF, 2-story structural steel multipurpose addition and chapel features curtainwall framing systems, interior and exterior masonry components, skylights, exposed structural wood decking and high end finishes.
Site work requirements were extensive and several front-end months were devoted to stormwater management, parking lot phasing, playground relocation and other elements that required close coordination with the building committee. Construction was completed December 2008. |
