Mount Ararat Baptist Church, Stafford, Virginia
ARCHITECT

This project features a 43,000 square foot education building with a two story "People Street" walkway connecting to the existing Church and the future Worship Center. Incorporated into the People Street is an ornamental stair case and mezzanine leading to the second floor level and two new grand entrances.

Existing functions were maintained throughout construction including temporary diversion of the force main sanitary line, installation of a new fire alarm and sprinkler system in the existing building and connection to the new electrical switchboard installed by Jack Bays, Inc. prior to the start of construction.

The site development encompassed 34 acres and included extensive stormwater management infrastructure and wetlands remediation. Significant value engineering provided the funds necessary to replace or overlay all of the on site parking areas.
