Gateway Professional Condominiums is a four-story 71,000 square foot office building. This building was originally designed to be constructed as a combination of curtainwall and pre-cast concrete wall panels. Due to the long lead time for pre-cast concrete, Jack Bays Inc. helped re-engineer the pre-cast portions of the building to light-gauge metal framing and EIFS. In addition, we redesigned the roofing system to overcome constructability problems relating to roof drainage and roof top mechanical screening wall supports. The net result was reduced construction duration and substantial cost savings for the Owner.
