This
12,600 SF addition to an historic church features glued-laminated
timber construction, custom windows to match an original
steel muntin design and unique faux stone especially produced
to match the original pink granite & sandstone combination
found on the original building.
Jack Bays, Inc. was contacted by a member of the congregation
to provide budget pricing during design development. When
cost overruns threatened the future of the project we
suggested a number of value engineering options that were
incorporated in the final design.
Work also included extensive renovation to the existing
sanctuary, administration and classroom areas, while church
activities (including weddings) continued without interruption.
