This
42,000 square foot sanctuary addition and classroom renovation
to an 18th century historic church was completed while
maintaining existing church and school functions.
The
project features a sloped and curved cast-in-place concrete
and masonry structure with glue-laminated wood roof beams.
Curved plaster ceilings, wood trim and custom millwork are featured throughout. An extensive asbestos abatement program was coordinated
by Jack Bays, Inc. in the daycare portion of the school
building and required careful planning and environmental
controls to ensure the safety of the children. |
