This 30,619 square foot addition and renovation project included reorienting and expanding the sanctuary; new balcony area; new narthex; additional multipurpose rooms and renovating the existing basement classrooms.
The construction scope of work required footing underpinning and extensive shoring of the existing roof trusses to install the new roof supporting beams. The sanctuary was reoriented 90 degrees to increase the square footage by 2500 SF while adding 300 additional seats.
Outside a new canopy was provided off the narthex entrance and the lower parking lot was redesigned and updated with the removal of the old parsonage. Jack Bays, Inc. played a key role in costing and value engineering while the project was redesigned in a successful effort to keep the project on track.
