This 30,000 square foot Fairfax County Regional Library incorporates many interesting design elements including ornamental iron trusses, exposed wood plank roof decking, standing seam metal roofing and large open spaces.
Through the introduction of significant value-engineering proposals for several areas including the roof structure and sound panels, Jack Bays, Inc. was able to keep project within budget, at a time when available funding was resulting in cut-backs in scope and size of many county projects.
